Vecinos en Accion
According to statistics by the City of Miami’s Department of Planning and Zoning, Little Havana has an estimated 50,000 families with children and elderly members who currently live in extreme poverty. Their low salaries provide very little and they come across hard times trying to sustain themselves. Frustration, unemployment, and a lack of resources have created a climate of economic desperation within this community. Neighbors in Action (Vecinos en Acción), an organization with more than 15 years of experience in the area, has created an emergency food program to alleviate the situation. We have created an information system to search for donations of food and other articles which can help combat the strain of poverty in the poorest neighborhood in the state of Florida, Little Havana.

Help these families today with your donations of food and other needed articles to Vecions en Acción. We are a non-profit 501-C3 organization.  Your donations are tax deductible.
